Where Statistics Meet Society: Building Sustainable Futures
The Camilo Dagum Centre was founded in 2015 by three Tuscan universities — the University of Pisa, the University of Siena, and the University of Florence — as a centre of excellence dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and scientific advancement in the field of statistics.
Through a combination of theoretical innovation and applied research, the Centre aims to provide scientific contributions that address complex societal challenges promoting equitable and sustainable development at local, national, and international levels.

The Centre promotes interdisciplinary research, bringing together economists, demographers, statisticians, and official statisticians to develop advanced statistical models and methodologies that support equitable and sustainable development.
