Nell’ambito del “Festival dello Sviluppo Sostenibile 2019″, promosso da “Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile (ASviS)”, il Responsible Management Research Center (REMARC) dell’Università di Pisa e il Centro Camilo Dagum, con la sponsorizzazione del progetto H2020 MAKSWELL, organizzano il primo World Café a Pisa sui temi dello sviluppo sostenibile e del management responsabile:

L’evento si terrà nella suggestiva Aula Savi presso l’Orto Botanico di Pisa in Via Porta Buozzi, 3, 56126 Pisa PI, Italia ed avrà inizio alle 17.30 e durerà fino alle 20:00. A partire dalle 18.00, sarà possibile effettuare l’aperitivo.

L’evento è aperto a tutti gli interessati ed è gratuito.

Inside the activities of the Jean Monnet Chair “Small Area methods for Multidimensional Poverty and living conditions Indicators in EU – SAMPIEU” (Chair holder Prof. Monica Pratesi) and in close collaboration with the Centre ASESD Camilo Dagum, the Emeritus Professor Prasada Rao (University of Queensland, School of Economics) will give two Seminars titled  “PPP methodologies (ICP program) and their implications for the measurement of poverty, and inequality in health and income”.

The Seminars will be held on the 16th and 18th April from 10.30 to 12.00 at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa (Informatics Laboratory, 3rd floor).

Within the Conference on New Techniques and Technologies for official Statistics (NTTS 2019) which will take place in Brussels  from 12 to 14 March 2019 the second workshop of MAKSWELL project has been included as satellite event on 15 March 2019.

Scope of this satellite event is to disseminate the research results of the MAKSWELL project (MAKSWELL), encouraging the floor discussion on them, sharing the research experiences and promoting interactive discussions with invited keynote speakers.

The discussion will be on the research results on monitoring of Sustainable Development Goals, their indicators at regional level using non-traditional data sources and nowcasting.

Other particular issues will be tackled by specific paper presentation of Makswell members.

Participants will be invited to discuss the experiments done by the partners, challenges and opportunities of new sources, frameworks and methods for official statistics that aim to provide innovative policy support frameworks in “Beyond GDP” perspective.
