Full Professor of Political Economy at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Pisa, and Coordinator of the PhD Program in Economics of the Tuscan universities (Florence, Pisa, and Siena).
His research interests include inequality, behavioral economics, ecological economics, and degrowth. In recent years, his work has focused on the socio-economic effects of policies aimed at promoting the transformation toward social and ecological sustainability.
