Daniele Vignoli is Professor of Demography at the University of Florence.

He is Scientific Director of the PhD Program in Life Course Research, Scientific Coordinator of the Florence Ageing Research Centre, and President of the Italian Association for Population Studies (AISP). Currently, he is Scientific Coordinator of the Research Programme Age-It funded by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. He is Editor-in-Chief of GENUS.

He received the Dirk J. van de Kaa Award for Social Demography (2020) and the European Demographer Award (2023).
