The Centre analyzes the territorial distribution of couples, regional differences in reproductive behavior and family composition as shown by Istat demographic data.

The Center is involved in the agreement, which has been established by the Department for family policies the with the tasks of:

• address the issue of birth rate by adopting a broader perspective that considers individual choices and the relational and social dynamics that influence reproductive behaviors; 
• analyze the territorial distribution of couples, as shown by Istat data; 
• study the regional differences in reproductive behaviors and family composition, with a view to identifying differences in needs and possible levers for public intervention
