Valentina Tocchioni is Assistant Professor in Social Statistics at the University of Florence since 2019.

Her research interests focus on causal inference in social applications; childlessness; family dynamics and its interrelationships with employment status and housing condition; assisted reproductive technology; sexual behavior of youth; occupational outcomes of graduates.

She is a member of the Italian Statistical Society (SIS) and the Italian Association of Population Studies and the European Association for Population Studies.
